For those that know me you will probably find this a hard concept to comprehend, me a technical event and a bar…
So what is BarCamp?
Well it is not quite what it sounds, but you are pretty close. Typically code camp events are focused on a single vendor or technology where as BarCamp is an opportunity to interact and listen to presentations from members of the IT community at large no matter what platform/vendor or technology is being used. It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from participants.
Where: East Brisbane Bowls Club (Mowbray Park, Lytton Road)
When: 10AM-late on the 24th November 2007
Cost: $20.00 which includes bare foot bowls and a BBQ lunch plus all proceedings.
