SQL Server Open World

I received the following email overnight from the organisers of SQL Server Open World in Denmark.

Thanks a lot for your submission to the event in March. We’ll be happy to have you as a speaker and I’ll return to you next week with more information and a few questions.

Hence I am now heading over to Denmark in the first week of March next year to present at the first ever SQL Server Open World conference.  The event sounds like it is going to be a lot of fun and very different from a lot of other conferences.  As the event is designed so that presenters and delegates have an opportunity to mingle from the start to the finish of the conference including having shared accommodation.  For more details regarding this conference refer to here.

At the conference I will be presenting my Engineering 101 for a DBA presentation (the one with the legendary USB RAID Demo).  If you would like a preview of this presentation I will be presenting at the Perth SQL Server User Group on Thursday the 8th February.
