Strategic partnership will help to create even more efficient methods for developing and managing Microsoft business intelligence solutions based on Varigence’s BI Markup Language, Biml.
Brisbane, 23rd September 2015: WARDY IT Solutions, Australia’s leading SQL Server consultancy, has announced that it will be the exclusive Australian partner for Varigence, a global provider of developer tools, business intelligence and consumer software products.
Under the new partnership agreement, Varigence will support WARDY IT Solutions in providing unrivalled training and support in Varigence products, Biml and BimlStudio, to their clients. The exclusive partnership will ensure that WARDY IT Solutions can continue to offer the very best in advanced Business Intelligence and SQL Server solutions.
By combining Varigence’s advanced technologies with the database and BI expertise already offered by WARDY IT Solutions, the two companies will be positioned to provide an outstanding consulting and training service to end users in Australia. As Varigence products are designed to reduce both complexity and cost, while delivering an optimal service based on excellent and robust technology, the partnership is a great fit.

The partnership will focus on Varigence’s integrated development environment (IDE) – BimlStudio – which is used for authoring Biml (Business Intelligence Markup Language) code and data assets. Biml was created by Varigence, a company that has been building BI accelerator tools since 2008. BimlStudio is designed to be accessible to the end user, offering visual design and debugging features in order to provide a more unified development experience. Using BimlStudio and Biml, end users can manage entire BI solutions, including data transformation packages and OLAP cubes.
When combined with Biml, BimlStudio can be used to generate large amounts of data assets that process data from numerous sources. Biml eliminates much of the repetition that is involved in creating and transforming data packages. For programmers, Biml is simple to learn and experienced developers who are already familiar with .NET based languages should be up-to-speed with Biml in just a few days.
