[SQLDownUnder] SQL Down Under Code Camp - call for speakers

    Hi Folks,

We’ve got SQL Down Under Code Camp coming up October 11th and 12th and now’s the time to request abstracts from anyone who’s keen to speak at the event. (Details of the event are at www.sqldownunder.com on the “CodeCamp” tab).

If you’re keen to speak, what I need is:

    1. Topic

    2. Description (what you’ll cover and what people will learn)

    3. Bio (short bio covering why you’re the one to speak on it)

All sessions will be on and off within 55 minutes. Sessions are scheduled within one hour timeslots.

Please reply offline before 31st July.

    Regards,

    Greg

    2.       MDX is powerful but its layout and use is difficult for a SQL person to wrap their head around.  This session is based on my experiences of getting a handle on MDX when you love SQL.  This session will cover the basics of how to do basic queries, joins and selections.  Understanding key terms such as dimensions and measures.  Why use MDX at all.
