Database partitioning has been available since SQL Server 2005, however, it’s rare to find a DBA who has configured their database to make use of this feature.

In this session, Darren will take you through the how, when and why for implementing partitioning in your databases, and the common pitfalls to avoid.

By the end of this session, you will know how to identify good candidates for partitioning and determining the correct partitioning key to implement the feature.
