I will be presenting at the Perth SQL Server User Group on Thursday the 8^thFebruary. In this session ‘Engineering 101 for the SQL DBA’ I will explain how to optimise the I/O subsystem to improve the performance of SQL Server. This is the session that I will be presenting at SQL Server Open World in Denmark. This session will also include the now famous RAID demo using 7 USB keys and a USB Hub.
