A question I have been asked a lot lately is “where has the Import Export Wizard gone in SQL Server 2005”. The wizard has not disappeared although it is no longer as obvious as it used to be.
The easiest way to launch the Import Export Wizard is to execute dtswizard.exe from START | Run.
Alternatively you can open SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio and start a new Integration Services project. You can then select the SSIS Import Export Wizard from the Project menu.
