SharePoint Workflow Integration with MDS

Master Data Services (MDS) has been introduced with SQL Server 2008 R2 to assist organisations to centrally manage data assets. MDS also provides a workflow engine, however if your workflow requires more complex event processing, such as multi-tiered approvals or complex decision trees, you can configure Master Data Services to start a SharePoint workflow.
