July 2017 Roundup

July 2017 Roundup

Last week at Microsoft Inspire, I chatted with Microsoft employees and partners about the changes Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence are having on the Microsoft Data Platform.

One common theme that resonated throughout these discussions is that it’s the business, rather than IT, driving these new Data Platform capabilities. The differentiation between traditional IT and the business has diminished as access to tools and technology has become readily available and widely accessible.

Today, organisations are using data to drive their businesses in a variety of ways. From retailers using data insights to predict which products customers will want in the future and charities using data to inform how funding can be more effectively spent.

With SQL Server 2017 being the first Data Platform to have AI available out of the box, even more people will have access to the tools than ever before.  If you would like to know more about how you can start to leverage this new capability, contact WARDY IT Solutions today.

As always, here’s my top picks for July:
